Strictly Modified Welding 2.5" V-Band Back Purge Cap/Heat Sink

Description

Our 2.5" v-band purge caps can be used on all 2.5" v-band flanges. Not only are they a simple back purging solution,
they also act as a heat sink. They pull heat from the V-band flange, eliminating warping of the flange,
so they stay nice and flat. We also now have added a diffuser to the inside of the Purge Cap, to distribute
the argon more evenly through the tube/pipe.
You can see in the pictures, smoke testing with
and without a diffuser. Its smooths out the argon flow and spreads it evenly exactly where you need it.
A diffuser is a must for V-band welding. The Internal Diffuser now comes standard on all of our V-band Purge Caps.
These 2.5" V-band Purge Caps can
be used for exhaust systems, intercooler pipes, or any other tube/pipe you are fabricating that's with
has a 2.5" v-band flange. Can also be used for sanitary welding, the uses are endless. Time to keep
the aluminum foil in your kitchen where it belongs and start saving yourself time and money in wasted
argon gas and maximize profitability.
